I was shopping swiftly in John Lewis food hall for an impromptu dinner, when someone called my name (Oli Loveday) and offered me a tasting of this great value St Hallett wine. I picked up a bottle! Though the Riesling is the minor part, it actually makes its presence felt as a limey crispness on nose and palate. Served at the Cousins’ Shindig 2009, and rapidly demolished.
