A very interesting one this: reflecting the high heat of 2003 and correspondingly low-ish acidity. Only 12.5% though. Deep gold colour with green glints. Quite powerful nose of lanolin, sage, almonds and vanilla, over tropical / peach fruit, with some lemon too. Medium acidity, creamy, ‘fat’ full-bodied mouthfeel, with flavours of grapefruit peel, peach-flesh, herbs and vanilla. Medium-long finish. Not bad. Interesting. Although could be more refreshing.
